About the business
Spec Automation Ltd are currently looking for several Industrial Electricial Contractors to join our team. We offer a diverse range of products and services from upgrades & installations to Electrical maintenance & breakdown cover. Spec Automation work with a large number of Multi-National companies across the Manufacturing & FMCG Sector.
About the role
In this role you will be solely responsible for the day to day maintenance of plant operation, which includes:
- Maintaining and upkeeping controls systems
- Fault finding and trouble shooting on PLC Control machinery
Although this initial position is offered on a shift rotation, we do work on various projects, so we will require the successful applicants to be flexible with hours and prepared to work between multi different sites across the wider Auckland Area- majority of our clients are within the South Auckland Area.

Skills and experience
- 3-5 years' experience in Industrial & Electrical work
- EWRB practising license
- Experience in PLC fault finding & problem solving a must
- Experience on automated machinery
- Good understanding of I/O sensors, motor control
- Experience with instrumentation would be advantageous
- A logical approach to working
- Open to upskilling & ongoing training
