The Role
Our Auckland office has an exciting opportunity for an up and coming engineer to get some hands on experience managing a maintenance team who are servicing a contract in Manukau. The role offers the incumbent the opportunity to move into the broader design team based in Auckland.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the successful project completion by providing technical services in accordance with project time, quality and cost objectives agreed by the project manager
- Develop, supervise and monitor work teams and ensuring Health and Safety guidelines are being adhered to
- Develop long-term successful relationships with client and stakeholders including contractors
- Day to day management of team and allocation of tasks
- Identify potential risks and communicate with team leads accordingly
- Conducting Health and safety audits and reviews of site works
- Cyclic transport Assets auditing
- Invoicing and timesheet management
About You
- >4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Sound communicator who has a willingness to learn
- Strong sense of commitment to delivering on client promise and a focus on achieving health and safety targets
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
