Customers are at the heart of everything for us here at the Waimakariri District Council. We promise to be professional, approachable and solutions-focused when providing for our community. The Waimakariri District Council is looking for a new Utilities Projects Team Leader able to work effectively across a wide range of issues and enable a customer-focused environment. The Waimakariri District is one of the fastest growing districts in New Zealand and the third largest, by population, in the South Island. This provides a unique set of challenges and a diverse portfolio of issues to address.

The successful applicant will lead a motivated team of engineers, working with industry leaders, engineering consultants and contractors. In this leadership role you will provide direction & coaching / mentoring to your team, lead by example through the delivery of a customer focused in-house consultancy service, strive to improve systems and processes, and manage key stakeholder relationships.
