Your new company
This leading civil engineering consultancy are a locally owned and operated company, offering a range of services - including civil engineering and surveying. Due to growth in the business they are now looking for a Surveyor to join their Christchurch office. With a down to earth, inclusive environment, this business has a strong focus on ensuring their people come first (both clients and staff) , that their work is produced ethically and with integrity and that they are continuously looking at the best way to do something
Your new role
This role will see you involved heavily in the field survey work, formulating a project plan, preparation of data sets, ensuring work produced meets quality assurance standards, mentoring junior staff and overseeing and verifying work that has been completed. You project involvement will be incredibly varied and will see no day being the same.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to carry out this exciting opportunity, you will be an experienced surveyor with demonstrable experience working within the field. You will able to and willing to take the next step into a management function where you will be responsible for you own workload. You will be comfortable undertaking fieldwork and have a strong ability in GPS/ GNSS and total station work, whilst also having 12d knowledge.
