Your new company
There is an urgent need for an experienced Structural Draughter in one of Christchurch’s well-known design consultancies. This established and tight-knit team has a first-class reputation for providing project management and design expertise for structural projects across the South Island. Having won some multiple tenders over the past few months and they are now working flat out to meet project demands, increasing their need for highly skilled and experienced staff.
Your new role
Working as the Senior Structural Draughter, you will prepare technical drawings, plans and cost estimates for construction of buildings. Your knowledge of Revit and CAD will enable you to design and create concept and detail drawings, whilst your exceptional communication skills will see you successfully liaison between consultants and clients. For the right person there would be the opportunity to manage internal staff and implement and create processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Hold relevant tertiary qualification
- 3 -5 years relevant structural drafting experience
- Be proficient in Revit or CAD
- Have exceptional knowledge of New Zealand codes and standards
- Possess fantastic communication skills that compliment your technical and relationship building capabilities.
