We have a number of projects going on so we’re looking for a Payroll Advisor to join our Payroll Team here in Wellington for six months. This role requires you to have a proven track record in processing payroll within a large organisation. You will be systems savvy and have a high level of interpersonal skills. 

We’re looking for a payroll professional who has experience in an analytical advisor role, with an advanced knowledge of payroll processes and procedures. This role is responsible for supporting the payroll operations team, and assisting in reporting to ensure data integrity of our payroll information. It is a busy environment; so you’ll be adept at meeting deadlines and working under pressure. 

You’ll be dealing with internal and external customers on a regular basis so naturally you’ll be a strong and confident communicator and bring with you a friendly and team player attitude. 

Success in this role is evidenced by your ability to identify and understand complex issues, and good problem solving techniques to resolve these. Your ability to coordinate, prioritise and manage tasks efficiently within payroll time constraints is a must have. Your attention to detail will be an asset in this role and you will be comfortable applying Microsoft Excel to an advanced level.
