Temporary Works Engineer

Job Title: Temporary Works Desginer
Location: Tauranga
Pay Rate: $70,000 - $90,000 + package
  
An opportunity has arisen within a growing Civil Engineering Company operating within the area of Bay of Plenty. They are looking for a Temporary Works Designer. 

Company 
The company provides a range of Civil Engineering construction services throughout the Bay of Plenty and Auckland area. This includes general civils work and concrete structures work. 

Main Duties 
As the Temporary Works Designer you will:

• Plan, design and check Temporary works used by the Operations Team
• Liaise with Structural Designers 
• Assist in site inspections

Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role;
  

• A qualification in drafting preferable, with 3-8 years post experience ideal
• A proven history working of temporary works design
• Knowledge around temp works drawings, and civil engineering elements such as scaffolding, formwork, propping & retaining systems, etc
• AutoCad Skills
• CPeng preferable
• Ability to work as a team, however with limited supervision, with effective communication skills.
