About the Role

Our continuing growth means we are on the hunt for talented, savvy and passionate specialists to add to one of our teams. With your specialist knowledge in finance you will be providing leadership, mentoring, support and best practices to our emerging QA team. Our teams are empowered and fast moving – our belief is that good collaboration and communication is key to the success of our products. 

We have new projects that are heading into significant build phases during this year. You'll be influencing the direction of our products and will lead the testing efforts in one of our development teams. All of our projects require innovation and offer interesting automation and cross platform challenges as they are generally a mix of desktop, web based and mobile platforms.

What You'll Be Doing

• Play a lead role in test planning, code and design reviews and product planning sessions.
• Be a leader and mentor to testers that are growing their base of skills.
• Work with TFS, MS Test Manager, automated testing and SQL as well as other relevant testing tools.
• Champion our agile philosophies and contribute towards improving methodology implementation.
• Use your critical thinking skills in relation to the product and our development efforts to be able to test from a number of perspectives.
• Test, implement and support high quality, commercial software products written in .Net, C# and other current tools and languages.

Skills/Experience

• Passion – we want you to own it! You're happy to live, eat, breathe and dream about making great software
• Experience – you've had a number of years of manual and automated testing in a team centric environment preferably working on a large product
• Team work – you love working and collaborating in a close knit team
• Communication –sharing information, ideas and relating to your team mates is super important
• Be a sponge – you're eager to continue to learn and love to be challenged
• Responsible – you proactively look for ways to help your team achieve its goals
• Qualifications - you've completed an appropriate tertiary qualification and had plenty of valuable QA experience
