Join this established Australasian multi-divisional Contracting organisation as they embark on a process of further expansion and development. In this newly created role you will be given opportunity to develop your management experience and given the support and mentoring to get you there. They are a key provider of specialist maintenance services to the Infrastructure, Energy and Industrial services sectors. In New Zealand they are viewed as one of the premier providers in this sector and have significant market share.

Broadly based your role will include:

• Project planning, estimating, quoting and mobilising people, plant and equipment
• Contract administration, claims management and project reporting
• Procurement of materials and selection of ancillary service providers
• Management and supervision of on-site operations
• Client and stakeholder liaison
• HSE plans and quality management

Ideally you will be an existing Site or Project Engineer - BE mechanical or equivalent with at least 3 - 5 years of work experience gained in the contracting or services sector. The role will appeal to engineers with aspirations to gain greater experience in labour and operational management as the role requires a high level of “hands on” management. Flexibility, mobility and a positive “can do” attitude are the pre-requisites required along with strong interpersonal skills and well developed written and oral communication capability. Contracting experience gained either locally or overseas relating to maintenance activities on facilities would be preferred. The ability to travel locally and spend time away from the Tauranga base is essential.

Remuneration is circa $100,000 plus package
