Our client is a leading brand in the professional accounting and business advisory services sector.

Due to internal dynamics in this forward-thinking organisation, we have a unique opportunity for a CA qualified or nearly qualified accounting professional passionate about (or interested in developing their skills in) systems consulting.
This is a newly created in-house role. The purpose of this role is to meet increasing requirements on a wide range of accounting applications/software packages and systems within the organisation.
We are looking for a systems savvy accounting professional with good understanding of systems and accounting applications and how they work in the context of a sizeable professional accounting services firm.
In this role, you will need good understanding of business processes and their impact on the businesses.
Ideally, you will have at least some BI systems knowledge, good understanding or experience with project management and even interest in programming languages.
This role may be particularly appealing to a business services accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years current or recent experience in a CA environment and looking to branch out into new technical areas.
Our client brief is fairly broad and open to a wider pool of potentially suitable candidates.
In the upper end of the range, you may have 8-10 years’ or more years, including some project management experience under the belt (preferably).
This role may suit an experienced accounting software consultant with good understanding of accounting applications.
Hands-on accounting experience and good understanding of accounting processes is a key requirement for this role. Please note that New Zealand experience is a must.
