Ample Group Limited is privately-owned meat processing facility located in Stratford, Taranaki and currently has an excellent opportunity available for a management accountant.
What to expect
Responsibilities include a stimulating mix of both corporate and plant-based financial matters. This is a newly created role and requires a high performing individual to build the finance function from the ground up, implementing new systems, financial reports and controls and building a team as the business grows.
Core to this role is establishing and driving our business to a new level but to really succeed we need someone with a hunger for:
- Scoping out new finance systems or processes that support the marketing and operations teams
- Uncovering financial trends that drive business performance
- Challenge the marketing and operations teams to enhance their decision making
Day-to day responsibilities include;
- Developing processes and systems to ensure compliance to regulatory & company policies
- Reporting on key performance indicators e.g. daily profit / loss
- Providing cashflow forecasts and financial requirements
- Setting up the systems for debtor/creditor management
- Monitor and drive business profitability via cost analysis
About you

Ideally you’ll have:
- Three-five years’ finance management experience
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Be highly self-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Finance degree
