ABOUT THE COMPANY:
This opportunity has arisen due to the growth of the company. They are no longer wanting to outsource engineering and want to develop their own team.
They currently have 5 drafters who use Archicad, 3 planners and a large sales team. They have been around 10 years and has grown immensely over the last year and a half. They are one of Auckland's fastest homes building companies.
This company builds smarter homes and investment properties through clever design and sound proven processes to deliver quality homes that make the best use of a site.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This would be a good opportunity for anyone who has CPEng, whether you're wanting something different or are looking to wind down at the end of your career to share your knowledge.
This is a Project Manager as well as a Civil Design Engineer role where the projects include, Land Development, Drainage, and Flood works
Work across a wide range of interesting and complex projects (small to large scale projects) and expansion of knowledge beyond Engineering into project management.
Consultancy experience is beneficial and the PM side is easy to pick up, just the theory and report writing that would be the hard part if you are not used to this.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Bachelor or Masters in Engineering and CPEng
- Relevant experience of at least 5 years within Engineering or Project Management
- Ambitious and at any stage in your career
- Can work on their own as well as with the drafters effectively
- Willing to start a team where needed and manage efficiently
