Our Design Services team is keen to find an experienced senior 12D Modeller to join them. This role will be responsible for providing and managing a competent and reliable 12D design services in the Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch offices for a wide range of geotechnical and civil projects at Tonkin + Taylor. You will work as part of the Tonkin + Taylor leadership team, where your ideas and input will be valued to identify and develop strategic goals for the group. You will collaborate to challenge, drive innovation and motivate business development in the Design Services group.
You will be an experienced 12D Modeller and have proven experience in a similar position. You'll be working on civil design projects and assist in 2D design and 3D modelling. The successful person in this position will:
- Preferably be tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
- Experience in 12D modelling and design
- Strong ability to operate AutoCAD design packages
- Proven capability in both 2D and 3D design work
- A sound technical knowledge of civil engineering practices
- Be willing to mix it up and assist in construction monitoring as required
- Be a person who is adaptable and gets on well with others at all levels
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
