One of New Zealand premier professional consultancies is now in need of a Senior Fire Engineer to assist them on a range of projects across a number of clients. Salary up to $120,000
The successful candidate will join the Auckland office as a vital member of the firms Building Services team and provide design and technical solutions for a range of clients.
This role will primarily focus on life safety in building with property protection and contents protection as secondary drivers. Our client provides a complete set of fire engineering capability’s from acceptable solution right through to performance based design across a wide range of sectors.
The successful Candidate will have the following attributes:
- A tertiary qualification in Fire Engineering, preferably at Master level.
- 10 years + experience within a consultancy across a variety of sectors.
- Leadership ability at a level that allows for mentoring and skills development of junior staff.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Proven Project management skills
The position’s major responsibilities include:
- Providing consulting and design expertise across a range of sectors
- Life safety analysis and process safety studies
- Perform performance-based fire engineering, fire protection evaluations, asset protection and risk assessment services.
- Take control of investigation, reporting, design, contract documentation, and cost estimates.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required.
