Electrical & Automation Project Manager

The role is responsible for our two manufacturing sites, located in Papakura and Wiri.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Capital Investments & Engineering, this integral role will have a strong focus on successfully delivering capital project work through highly effective electrical & control system solutions and site operations support.

• Strategic development of automation and electrical plans
• Implementation of preventative and predictive engineering plans and capital project management
• SME in automation opportunities
• Lead and influence site leaders in the development of plant improvements and technological advances
• Management of labour and the ongoing cost-effectiveness of production and engineering activities 

Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate will have automation / control system experience and be a trade qualified electrician or degree qualified electrical engineer with a current NZ practicing licence. Experience in a manufacturing operation, ideally food related, is preferred. We will expect a high level of skill, with previous exposure to Allen Bradley PLCs and SCADA control systems.
You will have proven project management skills, strong influencing skills, a passion for continuous improvement and a proven ability to work with cross functional teams at all levels to deliver results.
