Associate Director of Structures

Stellar Recruitment has partnered with a Global leader in Engineering Consulting to find the talents of an experience Structural Engineer and Leader to join their Auckland Structural Team. This is a rare opportunity to join an internationally acclaimed, premier consulting firm operating in over 150 countries.As an Associate Director, you will focus on coaching and leading project teams, Business Development and ownership of client relationships, while being a Technical Specialist in the New Zealand Structural Engineering feild.You will be working closely with the Auckland Structural Lead, the wider NZ structural team and the global technical practice network.

Responsibilities include;- 

Leading the delivery of building structures projects including management of delivery teams.-

Driving technical development keeping up to date with new technologies & international trends.- 

Providing technical and project leadership to staff.- 

Mentoring and coaching junior engineers and designers.- 

Fostering client relationships.- 

Leading input into tenders and bids.- 

Business Development.

Minimum Requirements- 

NZ Chartered Engineer- 

Sound knowledge of NZ Building Market- 

15+ years' structural engineering design experience- 

Experience working in an engineering design consultancy- 

Knowledge of NZ Building Code and Standards- 

Strong people management capability- 

Proven record of strong client relationship building and maintenance
