This is a senior position within the Geology and Geotechnical team. You will help grow the business delivering excellence in technical solutions and client service. You will have the opportunity to work with the wider Australasian team of technical professionals and industry leaders servicing projects across New Zealand and overseas.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Civil engineering or equivalent as a minimum, with primary skills and extensive experience in Engineering Geology and/or Hydrogeology. Individuals with relevant post-graduate training in Engineering Geology and/or Hydrogeology are encouraged to apply. It is expected that you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and strong analytical and problem solving skills. Previous consulting experience will be ideal.

About you:
- Provide project delivery expertise; including planning, budgeting, and schedule monitoring and control.
- Organises and assists internal project teams and external subcontractors in accordance with project priorities, guidelines and contractual obligations.
- Engages and works with various local, national, and global technical leaders as appropriate.
- Have knowledge of the local/regional environmental services market.
- Actively develops and maintains client relationships and builds new business and participates in the evaluation of new project opportunities; leads proposal teams.
- Acts as technical support on complex projects from inception to closure (budget, schedule, scope, plan and direct consulting activities, quality control, etc.).
- Maintains visibility and professionalism in the market by participating in civic and professional organisations and encouraging all staff to do the same.
