We are working with a well renowned global engineering company who specialize in power and automation technologies and they are seeking a highly driven Field Service Technician to join their team!

Your role:

• Plan and execute relevant service projects both internally and externally

• Provide onsite and off-site technical support whilst identifying any issues and determining the best cause of action across all service categories; e.g. installation, testing and commissioning, maintenance repairs, engineering and consulting, extensions, upgrades and retrofits etc.

• Prepare and follow up on all technical documents and reports in a time efficient manner and ensure these are signed by customer representatives

• Participate in maintenance meetings and be proactive in communicating ideas for product and quality improvement

• Adhere to and implement all Health and Safety Policies and report any unsafe practices

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Full NZ Electrical License

• 4+ years’ experience in the electrical industry

• Previous experience in MV/HV industry

• Experience working in power stations and substations

• Knowledge and experience with testing methodologies and equipment

• Knowledge and experience working with transformers, switchgears and protection systems

• Intermediate level of computer literacy i.e. excel, word and outlook office

• Have effective time management skills

• Full Clean Driver’s License

• The successful applicant must be able to travel when required
