We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Licensed Cadastral Surveyor to join WSP Opus and lead our Auckland Survey team. Based in our Westhaven office, this newly created position will ensure the technical expertise and growth of the Survey team. You will be a champion UAV and 3D Laser scanning and be passionate about identifying market opportunities. You will be leading from the front, and working side by side with your team members to achieve the goals of the organisation.
 

The opportunity:
 

• Lead, grow and develop the Survey Team
• Provide consultancy services to clients in respect to cadastral and engineering surveys, subdivision scheme plans and resource consent/land use consent applications preparation
• Promote the adoption of UAV and 3D Laser Scanning to both internal and external clients
• Provide consultancy services to clients in respect to cadastral and engineering surveys, subdivision scheme plans, resource consent/land use consent applications preparation and all types of terrain and structural monitoring surveys.
 

You will have:
 

• Surveying Degree and be a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor
• Current practicing certificate
• Current clean Drivers Licence
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in survey discipline.
• Knowledge of the relevant codes, standards, legislation, rules and practices.
• Excellence in the use of relevant survey equipment and software packages.
