Your new role
This company are seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee the day to day operations of the Workshop. This position will see you responsible for staff management (up to 25 mechanics), time-sheet sign offs, technical support to mechanics and apprentices, warranty documentation, ensuring Health & Safety is being adhered to and assisting to implement new systems and processes for more efficient productivity.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous Management experience
  • A qualification in Heavy Engineering (Automotive)
  • Extensive knowledge across a range of Heavy Diesel equipment
  • A good technical understanding of road trucks
  • An enthusiastic, “can do” attitude with the ability to motivate staff • Be driven to exceed targets and company expectations
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
