About the opportunity
Reporting to the Technical Team Leader – Structures, the Auckland-based Senior Structural Consultant will be responsible for providing structural engineering design skills and project leadership to the structural engineering team. This includes mentoring less experienced staff, marketing to external and internal clients and pursuit of work / preparation of proposals and tenders.
The Auckland team is part of the wider Built Environment Structural section with approximately 30 Engineers and Modellers spread across four offices in New Zealand, working on a wide variety of projects for various client sectors.
About you
Ideally from a consultancy background, you would be an experienced Structural Engineer with specialist level design and project management skills.
Required qualifications and experience include:
New Zealand chartered structural engineer status
Experience across a diverse range of projects and client sectors.
New Zealand experience and strong local network
Experience with commercial and design management of projects.
