About the role
This is the ideal opportunity for a motivated and driven finance manager to really step up and add value at a strategic and operational level while taking responsibility for the effective management of the finance function.
A hands-on approach to getting the job done right will be critical, as will the ability to liaise effectively with employees at all levels across the company.
This broad ranging role will include:
- Monthly profit and loss reporting
- Revenue and expense reporting
- Motivating and managing office and accounts staff
- Job costing, analysis and commentary
- Fixed asset register
- Cash flow management
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Capital expenditure planning
- Assisting with business case analysis
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliation
- Risk management
- Overseeing debtors, creditors and payroll etc.
The position will also require the successful person to upskill, coach and mentor project managers and other colleagues, particularly with respect to reporting, analysis and job costing. We believe that this is one of the best opportunities of its kind available in the local market.
