This highly regarded engineering consultancy has been carving a solid reputation in the New Zealand building services sector for many years. Committed to sustainable development and design; they offer expertise across the a range of building services from HVAC to Hydraulics, Electrical, Fire, etc. You will enjoy the opportunity to expand your skills, working in a highly talented and collaborative team of engineers and work closely with the leaders in the business. 

This company has worked on a diverse range of projects including; Residential, Commercial Offices, Stadiums, Schools and Mixed-use Developments projects both locally, nationwide and within the Asia- Pacific region. The work is still flowing in the door now so the time has come to add another experienced team member to the Mechanical division.

As an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer/Project Lead you will be involved in many facets of a consulting role from site surveys to initial design meetings, to producing designs and specification for building services equipment, to installation, commissioning and handover. Depending on your level you will either be the Lead Mechanical Engineer or overall Project Lead co-coordinating multi-disciplinary projects so there will be client liaison.

As the successful candidate you will have:

• At least 7 years experience working as an Mechanical Engineer in a consultancy environment
• Experience designing Mechanical building services systems 
• Proficiency in various software including Carrier, Hevacomp, etc.
• Excellent time management and team work skills
• Strong job management skills
• Excellent English communication skills  - written and verbal
• Desire to work in a team delivering high - level projects
