The Company

Research Motors is a workshop based at the Ruakura Research Centre site and prides itself on the quality of its team and workmanship - PLUS great service and accurate diagnostics.  The team of 20 mechanics and support staff  work with their corporate and individual customer base.  They offer professional services on all makes and models of cars, light commercials, motor bikes and light trucks.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Auto mechanic who is WOF qualified with at least 5 years’ experience servicing and repairing vehicles.   You will possess diagnostic skills across a range of makes and models and demonstrate good workmanship. 

An Auto Electrical background, with the ability to perform electrical and air conditioning diagnosis and repair would be a huge asset.

The Person

Your positive, can do attitude will be a must! A confident and competent mechanic with experience across all makes and models.  Being a good team player, who takes instruction and follows through confidently will be highly regarded as will your ability to back your own decisions. Your attention to detail, your honesty and clean drivers licence with relevant work permits, if applicable, will support our client considering your application.

You’ll enjoy working in a busy modern workshop with a variety of maintenance opportunities.  

The friendly environment is supportive of those who may not have excellent English speaking skills and if this is you, you can feel confident that you’ll be offered the support to communicate effectively in the team and with customers.
