Cardno is currently seeking a Project Manager to support our Infrastructure division as part of the successful Wellington team. The office is based in Petone and has spectacular views from the kitchen out over the harbour to Wellington City. You will enjoy a great social element of work where there is games and tournaments put on by the social team, regular banter in the kitchen over a cuppa and the opportunity to chat with all levels of staff in the wider office due to the collaborative and positive culture.

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out general project management of small to medium projects across the project lifecycle including strategy, business case, design and delivery and be a confident communicator. Reporting to the Project Management Team Manager, in the Infrastructure team you will be responsible for project management services for the NZ Business Unit in accordance with project times and budgets. 
 
Specifically, your duties will include:

• Undertaking project management for a wide range of projects including roading, three-waters, land development and other infrastructure ensuring timeframes and budgets are met.
• Assisting senior managers with business development and business improvement activities.
• A commitment to Cardno Health and Safety vision of Zero Harm. 

 To be successful you will typically display: 

• Degree qualifications in engineering, project management or related discipline coupled with 5-10 years' experience within the construction, infrastructure or engineering industry.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering small to medium sized projects. 
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with local and central government approval and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to develop effective, innovative and commercial solutions.
• A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills to develop, maintain and enhance client relationships.
