This leading manufacturer is highly regarded as one of New Zealand's premier and successful organisations.
A Trade Certified engineer is required to operate in a sole charge capacity attending to a wide range of maintenance activities and implement changes focussed on maximising site operational performance.
You will have previous experience working with computerised PPM systems and as a "switched on" engineer you will feel confident to solve problems on a diverse range of special purpose PLC controlled equipment.
Electrical EST qualifications or willingness to obtain is preferred.
Working within a modern quality focussed culture you will have a "can do attitude" and enjoy working unsupervised to find the best way to solve a problem.
Ideally you will have experience in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment and be confident in Hydraulic / pneumatic component troubleshooting. Training in Continuous improvement (5S) would be an additional bonus.
As you will be dealing with production teams, superior communication and interpersonal skills are required to influence positive business relationships.
