Engineering Positions with this company are rarely available.
This leading manufacturer is highly regarded as one of New Zealand’s premier and successful organisations.
A Trade Certified engineer is required to join a small cell attending to a wide range of maintenance activities and implement changes focussed on maximising site operational performance.
You will have previous experience working within PPM, but as a “switched on” Engineer you will designated to solve problems on their PLC controlled speed packaging equipment.
Working within a modern quality focussed culture you will have a “can do attitude” and enjoy working unsupervised to find the best way to solve a problem.
Ideally you will have experience in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment and be confident in Hydraulic / pneumatic component troubleshooting and machining replacement components.
Welding skills would be an additional bonus.
As you will be dealing with sub contractors and cross functional teams, superior communication and interpersonal skills are required to influence business relationships.
