We are on the lookout for an Accounts Receivable and Credit Control Specialist to join a Wellington based finance team.The organisation has several branches nationwide, however a slightly larger presence in Wellington. They provide a range of important services to New Zealanders. This role is a great position for a proven Credit Controller with the ability to reduce debt.

This position is for three months to begin with, however could well be extended to six depending on performance and work loads

Key attributes and responsibilities:

• Building good rapport and relationships with customers in order to make repayment arrangements
• Accounting skills and understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload
• Fantastic attention to detail
• Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
• Reconciliations of the debtor account
• Dealing with overdue accounts
• Invoice processing
• Ad hoc finance administration
• Good excel skills
• Familiar with computerised accounting systems
