We have an opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join our growing Waikato/BOP team. The role can be based in either Hamilton or Tauranga and could appeal to someone looking to escape the traffic and high house prices of Auckland. You'll be involved in a range of varied and challenging building projects, from preparing expressions of interest and project proposals, designing, investigating and documenting the project through to observing and supervising physical works.  This is a varied and interesting role where you can truly be part of creating what matters for future generations.

 You will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in structural engineering, ideally in New Zealand
• Familiarity with NZ Building Standards and Codes.
• BEng or equivalent and working towards CPEng status
• Strong organisational skills with ability to optimise and prioritise conflicting demands
• Innovative thinking and the ability to show initiative.
