About the company:

This consultancy are specialists in the field of earthquake strenghthening and seismic assesments and operate nationally. They are in need of an Intermediate and a Senior Structural Engineer due to growth and an increasing number of projects.

They work on:

• Initial and Detailed Seismic Assessment (IEP/ISA/DSA)
• Earthquake-Prone Buildings (EPBs)
• Structural condition assessment
• Heritage building assessment and retrofit
• Cost benefit analysis

About the role:

• Work on Commercial, Industrial, and Residential design
• Extension, conversion and refurbushment
• Design reviews
• Structural condition surveying and reporting
• Liaise with clients and architects

Ideal Candidate:

• A minimum of 2 years of NZ experience
• Bachelor of Engineering
• Experienced with structural assesment and seismic of existing buildings
• Excellent English written and communication skills
• Be able to hit the ground running and work autonomously in a satellite office environment with regular reporting to head office
