Civil Engineer

This niche Engineering Practice are looking for a Civil Engineer to join their Wellington team. The specialise in infrastructure, transport and land development work nationally for private clients and government sector departments.
 
They have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to work on field inspections and maintenance upgrade work for new rail crossings, retaining structures, bridges and infrastructure projects nationally. You will be based in Wellington but will be working in the field and get to travel across New Zealand.
 
You could be at mature graduate to intermediate status within your career and be looking for a varied role taking on a design and project engineering role. You will be managing multiple projects across the infrastructure sector and will need to be competent in CAD and Civil Engineering design for infrastructure projects.
 
You will have a tertiary engineering qualification and you’ll have some project exposure in the areas of transport, infrastructure or land development projects and an interest in spending time out the office working on field related project work. You will have excellent support and career development from the Wellington team and wider national team who all collaborate together on projects.
 
You’ll understand NZ design codes processes, regulations and have CAD, Civil design and on-site exposure working on engineering projects. You will get to work in niche national team who are very established throughout the region and have an influx of work based on both their reputation and ability to deliver on projects.
