Our Client is an established manufacturing business. Predominantly they export into Asia alongside distributing products throughout NZ's Supermarket chains.
They are continuing to grow at a rapid rate. This growth requires expansion of existing manufacturing capability, the commissioning of new plant and the ongoing maintenance of the current plant.
 
We are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor who will report to the Production Manager. This is a leadership role and will have a number of direct reports. Responsibilities will encompass the safe, efficient and cost-effective management of the maintenance function for the manufacturing site. With an on-going continuous improvement approach to integrating the production process and maintenance planning to optimise throughput.
 
To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate the following;

• Tertiary qualified with an engineering qualification
• Ideally a minimum of 4 years maintenance engineering experience.
• Experience of Lean manufacturing 
• Leadership and development of teams
• Have implemented total preventative maintenance planning in a manufacturing business.
