Current team dynamics and growth have combined to create an opportunity for a strong senior accountant/assistant manager or manager to join one of their BAS teams in Auckland.
This is a key role that is defined by some of the following duties and responsibilities:
- Managing workflows and client relationships
- Assisting partners with business development and strategic planning
- Managing and mentoring professional staff
- Conducting performance reviews and personal development sessions with team members (at the upper end of the range for this role)
- Coaching and mentoring individual team members at various stages of their careers (at the upper end of the range)
- Reviewing work papers and assisting team members with complex technical issues
- Managing and overseeing the internal training requirements for your team
- Various other operational and strategic ad hoc responsibilities
We are looking for a CA or CPA qualified accounting professional with a minimum of 5-6 years current experience in business services.
The size of the clients you will be responsible for in this role requires you to have NZ IFRS experience. Naturally, at this level you will be confident communicator with proven client relationship management competencies and experience.
Your sound technical background and up-to-date knowledge of New Zealand tax and the Companies Act are essential technical requirements.
Your interpersonal skills, commercial credibility and proven ability to communicate with your team in a positive and constructive manner will be critical for this role.
