Ligar designs and develops polymers for the filtration of unwanted or valuable molecules from fluids.
Ligar is looking for an energetic, practically minded, detail-oriented individual to join our process Engineering Team. This committed group works to produce polymers and design processes for the large-scale manufacture of these polymers and the systems for processing them in industry.
This one-year fixed term engineering technician position will be responsible for assisting with the operation and basic maintenance of all processing equipment within the Ligar Laboratories.
The engineering technician serves as a technical resource to support the engineering and science teams with daily operation of pilot equipment to produce polymer, technical support of manual and semi-automated equipment, basic maintenance and updating process information.
This entry level position would suit a new graduate or someone with 2 or 3 years experience.
