CMW Geosciences is a specialist Geotechnical Consultancy with offices in New Zealand and Australia, focusing on the Construction, Infrastructure, Land Development, Resource and Mining sectors. We are a mid-sized, privately owned, consultancy delivering excellent geotechnical services based on strong personal working relationships, honest and open communications and a focus on work/life balance.
Due to increased demand from our clients in New Zealand we are looking for a new team member to join our Tauranga Office.
Successful candidates will have a degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology and a relevant post graduate qualification would be highly regarded. You will need to be self-motivated with a focus on results.
This position will suit a Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist who does not want to be locked in an office and chained to a desk. The work will include a combination of office based drafting / design and reporting plus site work. Fieldwork duties will include some hand based investigation techniques which will require a fit and enthusiastic candidate.
