This role is a great chance to join a highly professional outfit to lead the delivery of the groundwork, excavation, piling and RC packages on a high profile project in Auckland.
My client is a respected Auckland based contractor with a successful track record of delivering commercial, residential, apartment, education and aged care facilities. Experience of working on projects in NZ is highly desirable, returning Kiwis are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- 4+ years experience working for a contractor or sub-contractor on new build construction projects.
- A confident approach to site engineering tasks such as construction methodologies, site set out, supervision, issuing method statements and sub-contractor management.
- This role will see you updating construction programmes and communicating with the project team on progress.
- A tertiary education is preferred but not essential (BEng, Diploma in Civil Engineering, etc.)
- Concise written and verbal communication skills.
