As part of on-growing growth, we have an exciting Dunedin based role - HVAC Controls Technician/Specialist.
In this exciting role, you will join a dedicated team providing service and commissioning work for electrical, mechanical, automation control systems and related equipment in the commercial or industrial sectors. Your responsibilities will include installations, software configuration, testing and commissioning of HVAC controls, building automation, BMS, lighting, CCTV and security systems.
Further responsibilities will include provision of DDC programming & commissioning; technical checkout; carrying out planned and corrective maintenance of installed controls equipment; assisting in pricing; designing small HVAC controls jobs; preparing wiring drawings and assisting in subcontractor coordination on Building Automation projects and contracts.
This is a key role and to be successful you should be technically qualified at Trade/ Diploma level in an Electrical or Electronics discipline. You will have credible field hands on experience of BMS in relation to HVAC controls, energy management, PLC of DDC controls programming & commissioning and other building automation components and you will demonstrate a good understanding of Integrated building management controls systems. In addition, previous experience working in health care, education and commercial building will be an advantage.
