Due to our ongoing success in the water services sector and recent expansion into New Zealand we are seeking a Senior to Principal Level Civil Engineer, to join our team.  To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of 10+ years’ experience, be well networked and recognised as an industry leader in your specific professional discipline in the New Zealand market.

WGA are world leading experts in Managed Aquifer recharge and have a strong presence in Australia in recycled water scheme development, with a focus to do the same in New Zealand.

This is a great opportunity to join an established team that has plans to grow as new & exciting opportunities continue to occur. Joining a small NZ-based team supported by over 200 staff from other offices will provide an opportunity to shape the New Zealand business and build and lead an water services engineering team from the ground up.  Ideally the candidate will have skills complimentary to our current team’s strengths in MAR and hydrogeology and be seeking to build a team to deliver integrated water management projects.

We are seeking candidates with the following attributes:

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) in New Zealand
• Excellent report writing and technical review skills
• The ability to create innovative solutions which add real value and deliver quality outcomes
• The desire to attract and develop talented professional
• A proven track record in building and leading teams
• Proven abilities to develop and maintain business opportunities
• This person shall have the ability to win and deliver the work in a small office environment.
• The ability to develop long term collaborative client relationships built on respect, performance, honesty and trust
