We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team and utilise your skills and experience as a Accounts Receivable Officer. In this key role, you’ll be working with a close-knit team to ensure Palmerston North City Council is effectively managing its Accounts Receivable obligations.
To really be effective in this role you will use your financial administration skills and work with others in the Finance team to ensure that accounts receivable processes are handled accurately and efficiently. You will also be experienced in Credit Control, and ensure that all of our debt management interactions are carried out with a high level of professionalism and accuracy. You’ll have a “can do” attitude and personable approach, working closely with budget managers to ensure that processes are understood and followed, and any issues are quickly resolved.
Ideally you will have significant experience in accounts receivable and credit control. You will also have strong financial / numerical acumen and experience in using our financial software, Ozone. You will be a great communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
