Our Client is looking for a sheet metal drafter that has experience in the programming of CNC machines. They are considering applicants for both full-time and contract positions.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will provide the right candidate with an excellent opportunity to join one of New Zealand’s leading manufacturers. Reporting to management, clients and other stakeholders you will directly contribute to the success of the company by applying your engineering skill and working knowledge to the role.
DUTIES
- Drafting in SOLIDWORKS and AUTOCAD Softwares
- Producing and managing full working drawings to a high standard
- Producing files for CNC manufacture
- Communicate effectively with management, team members and clients
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Certificate in drafting or similar qualification
- Working experience in a drafting or engineering role
- Experience working with sheet metal, CNC and laser machinery
- High level of SOLIDWORKS and AUTOCAD skill
- Mechanical aptitude and design skills
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrate initiative and a proactive attitude
