The Opportunity
An innovative recycling process has been in the conceptual development phase for the past few years, its time has come and the initial focus of your role will be to provide the engineering expertise to transition the solution into its full operational reality. This highly automated production system requires the final design of a number of the bulk handling elements including conveyors, elevators, shredders and optimisation of the final production layout. Post commissioning there is a solid pipeline of interesting and challenging work and the prospect of engaging your engineering expertise in leading a technical engineering design team focused on a diverse range of industrial bulk handling projects or to continue contributing your expertise as a Senior Mechanical Engineer.   
  
What will I be doing
The core focus of your role will be delivering high quality results across the full scope of the project lifecycle for a broad range of bespoke industrial bulk handling systems. You will be involved from tenders/pricing to conceptual/detailed design through to engineering support for the final commissioning of solutions. You will be working collaboratively within a small team of engineers to design and deliver a range of bespoke, innovative and commercially viable solutions. There is a lots of variety in this role so you will not be short of technical challenges as well as the satisfaction of providing your support and expertise to more junior engineers as they gain greater experience.
  
What will you bring

• Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering
• Minimum 8+ years relevant engineering experience
• Exposure to bulk materials handling/industrial processing systems, agricultural processing machinery
• Strong influencing and communication skills
• Experienced in the delivery of bespoke design/build projects from conception through to commissioning
• A skilled user of Inventor /AutoCAD
