Experience with the project management of the installation of large ancilliary process engineering equipment is needed.
Our client firm is accustomed to securing design and build projects of process engineering equipment, and delivering these to client's expectations.
With it's expanding order book, it has a permanent position available for a suitably experienced Senior Project Manager whom is a good leader of a diverse and large team of engineers, and sub-trades, all related to the installation of specialist mechanical equipment.
As a suitable senior project manager applicant you will be accustomed to managing large installation projects in the hundreds of thousands to the millions of dollars range.
You will be adept at managing large teams and their dynamics and those of large and multiple installation projects underway. You will be a good people manager, understanding not only your teams strengths and weakness, and leveraging off the attributes of others to get the jobs done.
You will be emotionally intelligent, a good leader, fully committed to fulfilling customer expectations, and be a very competent mechanical engineer.
In terms of qualification and industry sector experience, you will come from industries involving industrial process such as Dairy and Food, Pharmaceutical, Geothermal or Pulp and Paper. You will be qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, but the most important component is having significant and proven success and experience in senior level project management and of large teams.
The ideal Senior Project Manager applicant will have:
- Significant experience in project management and ideally of larger sized ancillary mechanical equipment used in industrial process industries.
- Qualifications in mechanical, electrical,or chemical engineering.
- Ideally be qualified with PMP or Project Management with large team management and multi-disciplinary coordination experience.
This is an excellent senior level position, offering the opportunity to join a market leader involved in significant parts of the industrial sector.
