Our client is a well-regarded and established industry leader renowned for it's design and delivery of significant projects contributing to New Zealand's economy via the primary industries.
They undertake the design, supply, construction, installation and commissioning of various food and beverage process applications predominantly in the dairy industry. They need you to join them and become part of this collaborative and growing team.
With many projects forthcoming and already underway, they are in need of a Process Engineer. A suitable applicant will have from 4 year's experience and upwards to senior level, from within the Food, Dairy and Beverage industries, particularly in the liquid food processing, dairy, juice and soft drink segments.
This position offers highly competitive remuneration.
Reporting direct to the Process Engineering Manager this career position will include and have involvement in:
- Developing process designs in the food processing industry, primarily; liquid milk handling, milk powder, cheese, UHT, and membrane filtration.
- Manage and control project costs, resources, activities and schedules.
- Ensure timely delivery of specifications and works as well as supervise and participate in commissioning activities.
- Support sales and marketing activities
As a suitable Process Engineer applicant you will have:
- a Degree or recognised Tertiary level qualification in either Chemical/Process or Mechanical Engineering
- relevant experience in the dairy, food, or beverage industries as industry experience as detailed above
Other attributes you should have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management skills
- The ability to work autonomously
- Experience in the application of quality assurance standards and practices
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience working complex environments
- A positive team player attitude
