Our client is a specialist consultancy working in the HV Power sector. Busy and growing, they are expanding and would like to add an additional Drafter with BIM skills to their Christchurch based team. 

The job will have you undertaking Drafting and BIM using AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit. You will work on a variety of projects ranging from distribution and transmission lines and towers, to substations and switch-yards and including communications systems, generally any and all aspects of a power network.

The person.
Our new drafter will:

• Be Degree / Diploma qualified in CAD, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit and Inventor software
• Be skilled in Building Information modelling (BIM) using Revit
• Be a self starter, keen to progress
• Be a details person, with a 'get it right first time' attitude

Consideration would be given to BIM / Revit Specialists from other sectors, keen to make the switch to the HV power sector.
