About the opportunity
We are currently looking for a junior to intermediate level Electrical Design Engineer, Instrument and Controls to join our established Instrument & Control team in Auckland. This will be your opportunity to work on a large variety of local and international projects, including renewable power generation (geothermal predominately), industrial plant, water and wastewater plant. You will get the chance to work closely with a diverse range of other discipline and project teams in our New Zealand and overseas offices to provide the instrument, control and low-voltage electrical design for multi-disciplined projects.
About you
You will need the following skills and experience:
entry to intermediate level experience, strong technical capability and judgment in low voltage systems detailed design
Proven capability in controls and instrumentation in industrial electrical and process control engineering, LV switchgear, motor drives and AutoCAD
Previous consultancy experience (desirable)
Solid understanding of HSE regulations
Demonstrated track record of working with clients in the water, dairy and/or industrial sector
