Established in 1967, McMullen & Wing is an internationally award-winning boat builder, engaged in both construction of new boats and refit/ repair of existing vessels. You will join our established office-based Design and Project Management team, which is responsible for construction documentation, project coordination, customer liaison and cost estimation. Most of our roles are broad and multi-disciplinary, but to best complement our existing skills mix, we are particularly looking for someone with engineering systems experience.
You will ideally have:
- experience building, maintaining and/ or operating commercial vessels
- proficiency in CAD: 2D CAD literacy is a requirement, and 3D an advantage
- mechanical systems engineering knowledge
- a high level of general computer literacy. MS Project skills beneficial
- knowledge of Maritime NZ requirements for commercial vessels beneficial
- a sound work ethic
- strong attention to accuracy and detail.
Applicants should be able communicate effectively in conversational and written English should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
