Our Taupo Water team has a position available for either experienced water service people or alternatively candidates with a good understanding of the water industry, are keen to work, and enjoy using your practical skills ideally with relevant engineering, mechanical, or trade qualifications and/or experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborate team working with the Taupo District Council carrying out maintenance and construction activities across the District. Reporting to the Contract Supervisor you will be required to respond to service requests, perform planned maintenance and construction projects across reticulation, wastewater, stormwater and pump station assets.
This will include afterhours call out works to respond to faults across the District.
Qualifications
- Full NZ Class 1 drivers licence essential
- Class 2 and WTR licences are an advantage
