The opportunity
  
This company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of measurement and fluid control systems. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and dedicated Automation Engineer with a focus on automation solutions, work with state of the art control systems and oversee commissioning at various industries.


About the role

This is a newly created position, working closely together with the current Automation Engineer and the General Manager. You will be involved in automation projects from concept, software development, programming, testing and overseeing site commissioning and customer training.

Essential Skills, Experience and Attributes
  
We seek a can-do individual who can offer solutions, and the personality to deliver a great customer experience.  Your toolbox of skills and experience is broad. You have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (Automation Engineering, Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics or similar).
• Experience with PLC, SCADA and integration with software and databases.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients on automation and programming.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Ability to travel within New Zealand.
