Over the last 80 years, Babbage has established itself as a true market leader. Quietly punching above its weight, it is one of only two local technical services firms whose history spans over three quarters of a century. It’s an employee-owned practice built solidly on the foundations of its core values; innovation, problem solving and ingenuity.  Importantly, the business operates an outstanding culture where people genuinely care about each other and drive to deliver great work without the bureaucracy found in some of their competitors.

An incredibly strong forward workload and the appointment of a new Geotechnical Manager offers scope for driven and technically innovative professionals to join the Babbage family.

As such, we are accepting expressions of interest from Geotechnical Engineers at all levels. Or perhaps you see yourself in a Junior to Intermediate role where your career will thrive in an environment that supports and rewards forward thinking and self determination.

If you have a BE (Civil) or higher, a strong academic record, stable work history and experience in Geotechnical Engineering we would like to hear from you.
Preference is given to candidates with a postgraduate qualification in some aspect of Geotechnical Engineering, a minimum of 2 years working in a similar role is required for the junior role, 5 years plus if you see consider yourself to be at an intermediate level, and 10 Years + experience as a Professional Engineer.

You will be a team player, and possess an ability to liaise effectively with other disciplines involved in projects. This will not only achieve the best overall solutions, it also enables you to grow your career and functional knowledge.
