About the company:

Multi disciplined medium sized consultancy who's design work includes Commercial multi storey and low rise, Industrial, Processing facilities, Residential, and more

They work on services including Civil, Environmental, Fire, Geotechnical, and Structural Engineering and have over 30 years of experience with a great reputation

Their are offices in Auckland North Shore, Whakatane, and Christchurch and looking to open more

Responsibilities Includes:

Review and consolidate existing structural systems, including specifications, software and design standards

Guide the structural engineering staff on specific projects including high level reviews of all major projects

Work across seismic building assessments and strengthening, construction monitoring, site inspections, investigation, testing and measuring and preparation of site inspection reports as well as Co-ordinating projects with other members of staff

Ideal Candidate:

• A tertiary qualification in structural engineering
• Chartered or working towards Chartered Professional
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in structural engineering in NZ
• Experience in seismic design with steel, concrete, and timber
• Previous experience managing a team
